CU Buffs Football Press Box VIP Package

Experience watching a football game from the unique perspective of the press box!  Catch the Buffs as they take on Southern California from the CU Press Box with VIP passes to the Saturday, October 2, 2021, game at Folsom Field in Boulder, named one of college football’s most beautiful stadiums. Your group of 4 will enjoy exclusive pregame field access, press box seats for the game, meals and refreshments, parking, and access to the postgame press conference with coaches and players. (One caveat: no cheering allowed in the press box; it is a working environment!)

Fine Print

The kickoff time for the October 2, 2021 game will be announced either twelve or six days prior to the game. The package includes:
— Four seats in the CU press box
— Pregame field access (watch the Buffaloes warm-up and Ralphie lead the team out up close)
— Snacks, full meal & refreshments in the press box
— Access to game day media information (media guide, notes, statistics)
— Gameday parking
— Access to the postgame press conference with CU coach Karl Dorrell and CU players.

The press box is a working environment; appropriate dress is required and cheering is not allowed. If you’d rather enjoy the game from the stands, game tickets can be issued instead of press seats, while retaining the other benefits listed above. Packages are not transferrable to other games. Package in 2021 is dependent on COVID regulations at the time; if unable to award, the recipient can choose a game of his or her choice in 2022.

The Tale of the Dog – Backyard Dinner and Conversation with the Filmmakers

The Family Dog was one of most influential rock-music venues in Denver history….and also the most mysterious. Debuting in 1967, the Dog’s stage was graced by Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, the Grateful Dead and slews of other seminal acts. Yet it lasted only two years, and its demise is the stuff of legend. Learn about its psychedelic heyday and unpack its mysteries with filmmakers Dan Obarski and Scott Montgomery, who researched the venue’s storied past to produce the award-winning documentary The Tale of the Dog, told firsthand by the people who were there. Stream the film in advance, then a group of 8 will spend an evening with the moviemakers and one of the pioneers of electronic music, Paul Conley of Lothar and the Hand People, who is featured in the film. Choose from several menu options from Pasta Jay’s and take home your own The Tale of the Dog psychedelic music poster.
