Colorado Convention Center
Guided Exhibit Tour & Inductee Q&A With Chuck Morris!
Moderated by Patricia Calhoun, Denver Westword Editor-in-chief, Colorado Music Hall of Fame Board Member
Wednesday, November 12th from 4:30-6PM

Celebrate Colorado’s vibrant music history with a special behind-the-scenes evening at Colorado Music Hall of Fame! Whether you’re a lifelong fan or new to The Hall, this is a great opportunity to experience the heart of Colorado music in a relaxed, social setting.
Enjoy a lively happy hour with cash bar cocktails and mocktails as you connect with fellow music lovers and hear directly from our honored inductee, Chuck Morris in an exclusive meet and greet!
The event will start with a guided tour of our exhibit at the Colorado Convention Center led by The Hall’s Volunteer Archivist, Dave Aldridge. Learn the stories behind Colorado’s most iconic artists, venues, and moments that helped shape our state’s music legacy. Then we’ll host an informal Q&A session with Chuck Morris, The Hall’s chair emeritus and 2018 inductee, moderated by Patricia Calhoun, the founder and Editor of Westword and Hall board member.
$10 per person (with cash bar).
Proceeds support Colorado Music Hall of Fame’s programs and mission to celebrate, promote, and support Colorado’s music community. For youth and for anyone whom the registration fee is prohibitive, scholarships are available by emailing events@cmhof.org.
The Convention Center entrance to the Colorado Music Hall of Fame exhibit is wheelchair accessible, though it’s a bit of a distance. If you’d like any assistance getting from the entrance, simply note it on the registration form and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of!
ABOUT CHUCK MORRIS
Chuck Morris is a pioneering promoter, artist manager, educator and has been a true driving force in Colorado’s music scene. As President/CEO of AEG Presents Rocky Mountains–the region’s largest concert promotion entity—he oversaw major projects including the renovation of Fiddler’s Green amphitheater and the development of Mission Ballroom in Denver’s RiNo Arts District, a 60,000-square-foot state-of-the-art venue that opened in 2019. Most recently, Morris has fulfilled a lifelong dream to become an educator, developing and chairing the Music Business program at Colorado State University in Fort Collins.

More tour dates with other Colorado Music Hall of Famers to be announced soon!
Our relocation to downtown Denver reflects The Hall’s long-term vision to expand our exhibits and provide opportunities that deepen connections between music, history, and our community. Our current exhibit will serve as a “teaser” in the future for the much larger, upgraded, interactive exhibit we will be creating at the Colorado Convention Center in the near future.
In the meantime, the exhibit is free for convention participants to enjoy during Colorado Convention Center events and Bellco Theatre Performances–as well as through special Hall programming, such as Front Row & Center (see upcoming guided tour and meet and greet event below), and Denver Arts & Venues public art tours.
