Colorado Music Hall of Fame inducts musicians, individuals and institutions that have contributed significantly to the music history and culture of Colorado. Complete the form on this page to nominate a musician, individual or institution to be considered for induction into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame.
Criteria for Induction:
Musicians, individuals or institutions may be qualified for induction if they were born or raised in Colorado or spent significant parts of their career in Colorado; had musical careers that lasted a minimum of 10 years (any musical genre); were signed to a national or international record label or received national or international recognition (may include charts, reviews, broadcasts, tours, etc.); or had significant impact in Colorado.
Musicians: groups, duos or solo talent whose work or performances have contributed significantly to the music, culture and/or history of Colorado.
Individuals: people who have contributed significantly to the music history and culture of Colorado, including writers, producers, engineers, promoters, photographers, filmmakers, journalists, scholars, teachers or others.
Institutions: venues, schools, programs, media outlets or businesses that are notable for their historic significance or impact on Colorado music.
Nominations are welcome but must conform to these criteria for consideration. If your nomination is determined to have met the criteria for induction, it will be added to the list of qualified nominees. The Colorado Music Hall of Fame Board of Directors will consider all nominees when selecting individuals, groups or institutions for induction for a given class or year.
